Scouter Elwood "ADDIE" Addison
April 9, 1929 to December 27, 2020
S. Elwood Addison, "Addie", of Burk's Falls peacefully at Nipissing Serenity Hospice in North Bay on Sunday December 27, 2020.
Elwood, nicknamed Addie by scouting long before this website was built. Elwood leaves behind his wife of 66 years, Bonnie and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Father of the late Lorrie Hartford and Lynn Barry. Addie began his professional life as an Auto Body Technician and later became a teacher at Harwood Secondary School in Ajax until retiring back in Burk's Falls Addie joined Cub Scouts in the 1930's and was active until he had a short hiatus from scouting when he left Burk's Falls to take a teaching position in 1978 When returning to his home town, he was asked if he would consider helping out with the scout troop for a few years. That was early 1990's, until his passing in December, 2020. |

Scouter Astrid "Nermal" Taim
March 13, 1954 to May 21, 2012
A short 5 year career in Scouting, left us to soon after a untimely accident while in the hospital fighting cancer. "Nermal" was our official group photographer, but we did have a few pics with her in various poses.
At Green Bay camp was first in line for cake and always ready to play a game of cards.
